So…with the season of Spring, I have just started working the dirt for my garden….and believe me at 48…I feel it is a lot of work, but in the end, it will be worth it…haha!

Anyway, I was ready for a good-ole Cheeseburger with bacon and cheese, so….this is what I came up with…

Doesn’t it look so inviting…well it was for me….

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. of ground turkey
5 cloves of garlic(grated)
1/2 of a small onion(grated)
pepper to taste
1 tsp. cumin
1 tbs. montreal seasoning
6 vegetable crackers
3 pieces of bread(crumbled)
1 large egg

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, and then form into 4 patties and fry them in pan, or on the grill!

TOPPINGS:

thinly sliced onions
roasted jalapenos(chopped)
your choice of mayo or mustard
sliced cheese(your choice)
lettuce

Thiat is what i put on these…but use your imagination to come up with any type of toppings…personally, I want to try the chipolte mayo next time!!!YUM! I like it HOT…HOT…HOT!

TOASTING OF THE BUNS:

Take hamburger buns and spread butter on them and top with garlic powder and parmesan cheese and place unter the broiler til toasty……just typing this makes my mouth druel…hahaha!

And, of course what would a cheese burger be without fries? Home-made fries that is…….Texas-style at that…..

So, after a day of working in the Garden…..go make this juicy burger and enjoy every bite..while thinking of what the dirt you just worked up will produce for you this summer………not the calorie intake….hahaha…WHAT? It’s made from Turkey…isn’t that suppose to be GOOD for you……hahahaha….hope you have a great day and enjoy it. Come on try this recipe and let me know what you think…………
