Well….I’m known for my jalapeno poppers on the grill…so I thought I need a quick way to make these. I decided to make it as a dip instead, so I could focus on the rest of the meat and veggies on the grill. So, I made this for a party last month and it went over well. I used pineapple perserves on it then, but I did not have any today, so orange marmalade it was…..

INGREDIENTS:

8 oz. cream cheese
2 jalapenos(chopped)
8 or 9 slices of bacon(cut up in pieces)
1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup of real mayo
garlic powder and pepper to taste
1 small jar of orange marmalade or whatever your palate desires

INSTRUCTIONS:

In skillet—fry up the cut up bacon and jalapeno til crisp—drain on paper towel.

In dish–melt the cream cheese in microwave for about a minute til soft.

Add the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, pepper, and half of the bacon mixture.

Spread orange marmalade on top of that.

Sprinkle remaining bacon-jalapeno mixture on top.

Poof~~~~~you have a cool dip that has a little sweet and hot and salty taste…Go ahead, I know you want to try a bite……..

I am into finding new kind of dips, and this is one that will be a keeper, along next to my buffalo chicken dip for sure…. Until next time~~~~~Eat and be Merry!!!!!!
